Christmas in July

 Hello Stampers


Do you live on the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane and would like to start your Christmas Planning soon?  Well I have the Crafting Event for you 😁😁

Come along to my Christmas in July Event :-

WHEN: Saturday July 16 2022        9:00am to 3:00pm

WHERE: The Function Room at the Malt Shovel Taphouse - 31-32/8 The Avenue, Birtinya QLD 4575. Located in the Stockland Shopping Centre.

COST:  $40.00 per person with Lunch additional at the Venue.

RSVP:  Deposit of $20.00 to secure a spot due before 30 June 2022 Balance to be paid by Friday 8th July.

WHAT TO BRING:  Bring along your own pair of small paper scissors and, if you have one, a hot glue gun with spare glue sticks just to ensure limited delays.

Email me here for more information and to book in and add Christmas in July as Subject.

We will be making one Paper Rosette Christmas Tree and, if time permits, one or two Christmas Cards.

There will be a Lucky Door Prize and a couple of Raffle Prizes so bring along some cash for the raffles.

As I usually do with my events a % of the proceeds of the day will be donated to the Heart Foundation Australia.

More easy creations

 Hello Stampers


As I inch closer to my moving date into my "downsized" new home I still am managing some crafty days to keep my "fingers in the ink" so to speak 😁😁

I am the Assistant Secretary of my local VIEW (View, Interests and Education of Women) Club and one of my roles is to search out and book interesting Guest Speakers.  Some get recommended to me by other Club Members so this makes my job a little easier.  I also give them a Thank You card and small Gift to thank them for giving up their valuable time to talk to us all.

One of the Club Members gave me a collection of Blank cards which were surplus to her needs so I use these and add a little more "creativeness" to them as Cards for all occasions which are needed to send out from time-to-time.

I start with this "blank" card -


and using the limited supplies that I have out of boxes at the moment - the "Hues of Happiness" Suite I end up with this.................





As you can see the large flower die from this set is not limited to cutting out the stamped flower images or the flowers on the matching Designer Series Paper. Here I used it to frame the "Thank You" sentiment.

I then hand cut or fussy cut, as we say in the crafting business 😊, the 2 flowers from the matching Designer Series Paper and added them to the sentiment.  Walah!!!  Done 👍

So I am keeping sane until my move at the end of this month.

I will be sharing with you all soon, my new Craft Room I am having designed right now.  There is a wait time of 8 weeks with the Cabinet Makers at the moment so keep an eye out in early August for my little space of happiness 😄😄

May Creations

 Hello Stampers


Yes I am back again 2 days in a row!!!  but when one has an addiction, one just has to get the craft goodies out wherever possible to create 😂😂😂  As I mentioned before all my craft supplies are boxed up ready to move house but I am getting fidgetty!!!  and can't wait any longer 😁  so I had ordered the new 2022-2024 In Colors and lucky some supplies were easy to grab so I am now feeling somewhat calmer after putting together my May Birthday Cards and Treat Bags for my "Minglers" Group of friends.





All my acrylic stamping blocks were boxed away somewhere not easy to be found so had to come up with a solution.......walah! found the lid off some storage containers just the right size...



And did not have any white cardstock left either so what to use???????   Yes the backing of the new In Color "Glossy Dots" packet is pretty close to white 👍 (See how I cut it off the bottom?)  I used them for the "Best Wishes" on the Treat Bags.  I bet you couldn't tell they were not exactly white????




So folks you don't need  heaps of supplies when making special greeting cards for family and friends.  Here I used just supplies from the new "Hues of Happiness" Suite on Page 108 of the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue which started yesterday.


I purchased the little Treat Bags for $1.00 each from the local "Cheap" Shop and decorated them using the Designer Series Paper in this "Hues of Happiness" Suite. Yes the Dies fit the flowers on this DSP perfectly.  Everything is "Matchy Matchy" 😄😄

Welcome to May

 Hello Stampers

Here we are in May!!!  This year is going way too fast again 😜  very quickly approaching my 66th anniversary of my birth!!  Aaaghhh! Well I am so grateful that I wake up each morning to greet these beautiful Autumn days here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia......and.....I get to do more crafting even though it is limited at the moment as most of my crafting goodies are boxed up ready to move to my new forever home.  I haven't found it yet but will soon I am sure of it and then I will be off and running again with Classes and card making for all my lovely Friends and Family.  

I had to send bought easter Cards to my 4 Grandies this year and the first thing they noticed was that they were not hand made 😔  Bless them 💖💖💙💙 They love receiving their handmade greeting cards from Grandma.
