Last few days of 2017!!!

Hello Stampers

A quick mention today about our fabulous new Stamparatus ( Stamp positioning Tool ) which will be readily available in our next Annual Catalogue beginning 1 June 2018.

"That is a long time to wait" I hear you say 😕  Well, you still have time to Reserve your very own Stamparatus now and receive it in the mail March/April 2018.

I have ordered mine and am doing excited little squeels with anticipation 😁😍.  I can't wait to show all my class attendees how easy it makes stamping.

To order yours just go on to my website here , go to "Shop Now" , Reserve your Stamparatus and create your own account.  No payment is required at time of Reservation although you will need to add a credit card for payment at time of delivery in March/April 2018.

You can cancel your Reservation beforehand if needed and no penalty payment will be processed.

You only have till 31 December to Reserve your Stamparatus, otherwise you will have to wait till June 2018.

Check out what it can do here:-

I hope you all had a relaxing and fun time with friends and family over the Christmas break.  I spent time with my daughter and Son-in-Law and 2 beautiful grand babies Peri who is 3 and makes Christmas such a magical time and little Oliver who is 11 months and just loved all the wrapping paper 😍😀

Hope 2018 is a happy healthy safe and craft-filled year for you all and I look forward to sharing some fun new cards and creations from our new up-coming Occasions Catalogue beginning 3 January 2018.  If you haven't already got your very own copy in your hot little hands and you live in Australia email me here and I will shoot one to you in the mail straight away.

Happy stamping everyone

Playing with new toys!!!

Hello Stampers

Now that I have my Christmas cards done and sent and presents nearly all wrapped and gift cards made I can now play with some of my new goodies that I am so lucky to get my hands on before everyone else 😉 I love being part of the Stampin' Up! Family. You could join in all the fun too with me.  There are some really great incentives coming up soon in January so if you are given some 💰 for Christmas you could put that towards your Starter Kit and then get all your own SU goodies at a discount.  If you are in Australia check my website here in January for more info and email me here to help you get started. I would love you to join my Team of Sunburst Stampers 🌞😃

So now to our new colourful and exciting 2018 Occasions Catalogue which is up and running from January 3rd 2018

and with this beautiful mini Catalogue comes Sale-a-Bration!!!!  That means lots of free goodies to earn from 3 January till 31 March 2018.

If you would like copies of these new brochures just flick me a quick email and I will get them in the post to you (anywhere in Australia) straight away.  If you are one of my lovely regular customers yours are on their way to you this week ready to read over and over on your lazy Christmas days.

So yes, I have read my copies from front to back and back to front many times now and I really love everything in the "Picture Perfect Party" Suite.  The Designer Series Paper Stack is going to be used up super quick!!!!

I made a birthday card for a very good friend who has a bit of a "weird" sense of humour so I used this DSP and a new Stamp Set called "Birthday Wit".  It suits him to a Tee. I also used a "Confetti" type of DSP from this stack to add to the envelope.

I also have acquired a couple of the free stamp sets on offer in the new
Sale-a-Bration 2018 Brochure and am quite liking the "Party Pandas".  A lovely friend has her birthday tomorrow so I hope she doesn't read this before she opens her mail 😜

I did use some retired Designer Series Paper and washi tape on this one but also used my new Stampin' Blends to do a bit of colouring on the balloon.

The little mini birthday cakes on the envelope are from the current Hostess Set from the Annual Catalogue called "In the City".  This is such a versatile set.

2018 is going to be one fun year 😁😁

Happy stamping everyone

Happy Christmas wishes to all!

Hello Stampers

Well it is only 16 days till Christmas!!  Aaaaghh! where has that time gone??  I haven't finished my Christmas preparation yet 😟   Every year I say to myself I have to be more organised and be Christmas ready.....it always sneaks up on me.

Most of my 40 + Christmas Cards have gone out so that is one thing done.  I made a few Christian Christmas Cards this year and I really loved the "Night in Bethlehem" set which is carrying over after the end of this Holiday Catalogue so am very happy about that.  Here is one that I made for a very good friend

 and another.....

So with the end of the latest Holiday Catalogue on 02 January 2018 comes the Retirement List of all those items that will not be returning so if there is anything you have on your Wish List and have not yet got now is the time to pick them up before they are gone. Just click here  to see the whole list.

Also if you shop online with me during the month of December please remember to add my Hostess Code DB67NJTJ to get an extra free gift from me.  You will also need to record your address so that I know where to post the goodies to 👍😃

I have been doing a little bit of home decorating lately also and my Bestie's husband put together this hat rack for me.  We saw something similar during our travels through the Hunter Valley and the Shoal Bay Region and he thought he could whip something up himself.  He did a fabulous job and I added the feature tiles.  I looked everywhere for fancy tiles to add to the rack but, apparently, that is so 1970's 😀 (my era totally)  and they are not available anymore.  So thinking cap on and I really love the "Year of Cheer" Specialty Designer Series Paper so I thought I must use that.  I found some slate tiles in my local Spotlight Store.  I coloured squares of the DSP with my foam roller and Dapper Denim.  This is to match the colour scheme in my lounge room. I then added these to the slate tiles with Hodge Podge and walah!!!!!  They turned out perfect.

So Stampin' Up! is not just for card making and scrapbooking but Interior Decorating as well.

Enjoy the holidays, stay safe everyone and keep on card making 💟😉

Online Extravaganza starting Monday!!!

Hello Stampers

Here I am again - 2 days in a row!!!!  I told you November is one super exciting month 😄😄

Firstly I am a little sad as I missed out on Reserving a new Stamparatus this morning.  The first reservation window opened at 7:00 am where I am in Queensland ( as we are one of the "backward" States who don't have Daylight Saving hehehe) and I do an hour morning walk Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the wonderful Creekwood Walkers Group from 6:30 - 7:30 am.  I thought I would get home pop on the website and Reserve my new Stamparatus.........but......the number quota was reached in 17 minutes and the window was closed.  Oh well there will be another Reservation Window opening on Wednesday 6th December so I will be waiting and ready this time.  They sure are super popular.

The next thing I am excited about is our November Online Extravaganza starting on Monday 20th November.

November Excitement!!!

Hello Stampers

Well I would have to say that November is turning out to be one of the most exciting months for me in the Stampin' Up!®  World.

Stampin' Up! ®  holds two Events per year to celebrate all its Demonstrators.
It really is a wonderful Company to "work" for.  At these Events we get to see upcoming new Catalogues before any one else and also see, touch and play with new products coming soon.  We meet fellow Stampin' Up! Friends from all over Australia and just have a fabulous time.

I have just been to our November Event which was held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre as well as a location in Melbourne, VIC.

I made 33 swaps to hand around and I received back all wonderful and creative swaps from other Demonstrators in return.  Here is what my 33 swaps looks like......

One of the highlights for me at this OnStage Event was the Bag that we receive when we check in and, in particular, its contents. This time we received a gorgeous coffee cup. I simply love it!!!

Here are a few more highlights of the Event:-

A  Display of an exciting new stamp set coming in January...

 And another one....

If you are one of my regular customers be sure to watch your letterboxes in December for copies of the new Occasions Catalogue as well as the 2018 Sale-a-Bration Brochure!!!!

Email me here if you live in Australia and would like copies or if you want to know more about attending the next OnStage Event in Sydney with me in April 2018 :)

More November excitement in my next Blog tomorrow!!!

Featuring Foil Snowflakes...

Hello Stampers

It hasn't been so long between chats 😁😁 this time.  I have had a few birthdays come and go and as I mentioned in my previous post I have used the left over pieces of my Silver Foil Snowflakes from my World Card Making Day "Christmas Banner" for a friend's Birthday gift.  I can show you now as she received them last Friday..

I decorated a little Pizza Box and inside popped 4 mini 3" x 3" Christmas Gift cards for her to give to her friends.

I used the "Year of Cheer" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) which you can grab now for free until the end of October with our fabulous "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" offer.

I cut out one of the gold snowflakes from a piece of the DSP using the Layering Circles Framelits and the other circles were left over 1 1/4" punch circles from a previous Class Project 😉

Inside the little mini cards used the "Cheers to the Year" Stamp Set, the inside cut outs from the Foil Snowflake and silver snowflakes from the DSP again.

This is how I cut the foil snowflakes

I attached them with a couple of little glue dots and popped the scallop circle snowflake on top with a dimensional.

Have fun using your Foil Snowflakes too 😎

September News!

Hello Stampers

No, I haven't fallen off the side of the planet 😕 but my Blog has taken a back seat to "Life" lately haha  I am better at keeping my Facebook Page up to date so check that out if you don't hear from me here. I will pop a link on the right hand side of this Page or click here -
https://www.facebook.com/StampingDazeWithJanette/

I have just come home from a driving trip down to the Hunter Valley, Shoal Bay, Salamanda Bay and Coffs Harbour and ticked off another thing on my "Bucket List"....take my own car on a driving trip.
I had 2 lovely friends to join me and share a little bit of the driving.  It definitely would not have been as much fun without them.

We did the wineries and the Cheese Specialty places and the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens.  A must see if you are ever in that area.

I just love this saying "Time to Drink Champagne and Dance on the Table".  I saw it at Two Fat Blokes Cafe and now I am on a mission to find one for myself.  😁

The main reason for this trip, also, was to catch up with a Primary School Friend whom I lost contact with in 1978 when I went overseas for 12 months.  I found her again on Facebook. Thank You Mark Zuckerberg for creating Facebook 😃 I just loved chatting for hours about our lives over the last 40ish years!!! Love you to bits Mish 💋

Now I am back home again and busy as a little beaver prepping for my World Card Making Day Event on 7th October this year.  I am holding it at a local Tavern near me on the Sunshine Coast (Australia) and it has a great water view and lovely location to craft away the day.

It has mainly a "Christmas" Theme but am throwing in a birthday card as well.

So I thought I would use my Foil Snowflakes in a Christmas Banner. Here is the end result which I m going to tie to the front of my display table at WCMD.

I didn't waste any part of the foil snowflake.  I cut out the middle which would have been covered by the Cherry Cobbler circle

Then hot glued the snowflake to the rosette. I used the "Merry Music" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the rosette.

Lastly I added Large Letters using the Champagne Foil Sheets

I will now use the middle pieces from the Foil Snowflakes on another project.  Watch this space or my FB Page for what these are used for 😉

Well thanks everyone for being patient with me and my Blog tardiness.  I will try and get to it more often.

Happy Stamping

August News

Hello Stampers

Another month has whizzed by and we are now getting ready for the new Holiday Catalogue starting soon on 01 September.

If you are one of my regular customers one of these will be making its way to you real soon so keep an eye out for the postman over the next few weeks :)  If you would like a copy and are not on my mailing list just email me here and I will get one to you as well

I have been lucky enough to have a preview of all the great goodies in this mini Catalogue and I think you are all going to love it :)  I will be posting some samples over the next few weeks also just to give you a taste of what is to come.

New Christmas Stamp Set available now before the new Catty starts -Carols of Christmas with matching Framelits and comes as a Bundle for 10% off.

 Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies

I have had a little play with this set and made a card for my class this weekend.  We will be playing with the new Glossy card at this class and this is the first card we will be creating

Here I used the "Swiping" Technique with Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive and Tranquil Tide.  Christmas Tree colours :) and the big bold "Peace on Earth" stamp.

I feel much more playing to be done to get the most out of this stamp set.

UPCOMING CLASS DATES

Saturday 19th August         2:00 pm - 4:00 pm       Theme is "A Little bit of Everything!"

MY JULY BIRTHDAY CARDS

There have been quite a few birthdays in my circle of friends lately in July so have had lots of fun time in my craft room.  This first one for a lovely lady in my Walking Group

Here I used Pool Party and Bermuda Bay ink on my acrylic block, spritzed with a little water and then stamped down on Watercolour Paper.  Then stamped the single "Stylized Birthday" Stamp in Archival Basic Black Ink.  I really do believe in the "Less is More" Philosophy :)

Another one for one of the males in my Walking Group.  He is a bit of a keen gardener so the "Colorful Seasons" Stamp Set was my Go-To set for this one and the beautiful filigree leaf from the matching "Seasonal Layers" Framelits Dies was just perfect in the Copper using the Copper Foil Sheets.

This last one for a birthday on Friday for one of the males in our Trivia Group.  Just love the basic black and white.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the "Watercolor Words" Stamp Set.  Such a versatile set.  Trying to use some of my retired Designer Series Paper and twine.  I certainly have a large stash I need to be more creative with.  Am I the only one here with this problem??

Saturday 7th October will be World Card Making Day this year and I am planning a fun day full of crafting activities here on the Sunshine Coast.  So stay tuned for more information coming soon.  Mark it in your calendar. Event invites will be sent out as soon as I have more details from the venue so if you would like to know more just email me here to keep in the loop :)

Happy Stamping Everyone
