Cards for a Cure

Hello Stampers

Stampin' Up! love giving back to the Community which is another big reason why I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator :)   Not only because of the highest quality and beautiful stamp sets and accessories that help me bring out my creativity but also because they donate to two very worthy causes here in Australia.

One is the National Breast Cancer Fund (NBCF) and this is very close to my heart as I am sure everyone of you out there has either a family member or friend who has been affected by this disease.  I certainly have and to help with further research to eliminate Breast Cancer is a big one for me.  So Stampin' Up! will donate $10.00 to the NBCF for every "Ready, Set, Send" Kit sold.  This "Ready, Set, Send" Kit features hand made cards and includes five thank you cards, five birthday cards and 10 envelopes.  So easy peasy anyone can  make them.

Item # 133384

You can buy the kit through my website shop here for just $19.00

The other wonderful cause that Stampin' Up! support is the Ronald McDonald House Program. Stampin' Up! partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) to bring comfort and creativity to the lives of Ronald McDonald House guests. For every "Flamingo Lingo" Stamp Set sold  SU will donate $3.00 to the RMHC in the State of purchase.  So for every stamp set I sell $3.00 will go to the Brisbane Ronald McDonald Houses.

The Flamingo Lingo Stamp Set comes in both wood (# 134303) and Clear Mount ( # 134306)
Check them out here at my Website store.

Nearly time for new Catalogue!!!!!

Hi there Stampers

I am sorry I have been offline for some time as I have moved house and things have been a bit all over the place.

I have moved from the northern suburbs of Brisbane to a smaller place on the Sunshine Coast.  You could call it a "sea change" or my retirement to the beach :):)
I have finally got my internet connection back and am no longer feeling out of touch with the world :):)

It is nearly time for the new Catalogue launch too so you still have time to check out the Retirement List here and pop in your last minute orders on my website - just click on the picture below.

If you are in Australia and you would like a copy of the new Catalogue just email me here

I have now set up my new craft room and have been dabbling a bit with the new in-colors for 2014-2016.  I have made a birthday card for my sister-in-law using Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and  Bermuda Bay.  A simple but pretty card also using the Flower Shop Stamp Set # 130939 w and 130942 c and the Petite Petals Stamp Set # 128706 w and 122497 c, both which are carrying over to the new 2014/2015 Catalogue.  Yay!  I am super happy about that :) The greeting is from a retired stamp set "Wacky Wishes" though.

It's nearly Convention time!!!!

Hi there Fellow Stampers

I love this time of year as it is nearly Convention time!  Woohoo!!  This year I am off to Melbourne for a fun filled 4 days with some great Stampin' Up! Friends from our INKcredibles Group.

We have a ton of fun with free give aways, swaps, classes, hands on playing with new products and so much more.

I have to be super duper organised this year as I have sold my house and am moving the day after I return from Convention!!!!  Agghhhhh!  I am a little apprehensive about it all.  Not the Convention part but the moving part :):)  My motto in life is "It will all work out in the end!!"  so this will be a big test of that motto.  I am very lucky to have some wonderful friends around me though who will help me through this process and a terrific daughter and son-in-law who live not far away who are always here to help :)  I know my Son and daughter-in-law and gorgeous Grandson would help too but they are way over in Singapore so they send moral support over the ocean via Skype each week.  I would be so lost without Skype.

I have made my 60 swaps to share on opening night and my Roomie Gifts for the 3 fun ladies I am sharing accommodation with in Melbourne so I think I am doing okay.

If you have been thinking about joining in the fun of Stampin' Up! as a Hobbyist just to get discounted products  or as a Business Venture then now is a fabulous time to join my team.

Just click here to read a little about the benefits of becoming a Demonstrator.  If you have any questions or want to talk to me more about the process just email me here and I will get straight back to you as I can't wait to share all the fun things we do.

Here is a wee sneak peek at one of my Roomie Gifts

Envelope Punch Board Class

Hey Stampers

Last Monday night I had a wonderful group of ladies at my Envelope Punch Board Class and some very fine creations were made.

Dana, Narelle and Maree are concentrating here on their projects.

We made 3 projects including a Matchbox gift box, a mini basket gift box, and a "Mars Bar" Gift Box.  I chose this name for it as it fits a Mars Bar perfectly but will fit any chocolate bar of that size.

Here are Dana's creations.....

 Here are Narelle's creations....

Here are Maree's creations.....

In all our creations we used Watercolour Designer Series Paper,  Designer Series Paper Stack - Regals, Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set, Label Love Stamp Set and A Round Array Stamp Set, Chevron Ribbon , 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and Linen Thread. The Artisan Label Punch, the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch and the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch and Whisper White Cardstock.
