Charming Sentiments

Card Making does not have to be difficult and require lots and lots of craft supplies (although you will want more once you get started lol )

Today I made this card using just cardstock, a small piece of Designer Series Paper, a stamp set and its matching dies, an embossing folder (you certainly can make it without this) and a few pretty sequins.

Very easy, yet so pretty and effective. I used Petal Pink as the cardbase just cause it was sitting on my desk from a previous project and decided to start my creation with it. "Fancy Flora" Designer Series Paper, the "Cane Weave 3D" Embossing Folder from the new Mini Catalogue and the "Charming Sentiments" Stamp Set and matching Dies.

Yes you can run designer series paper through your Cut & Emboss Machine with any embossing folder.  It gives a great background.  Just make your "sandwich" a little less firm.

The matching dies for all the sentiments in this Stamp Set are a fairly snug fit and to make the block shape behind just trace around the outside of the particular die with a pencil and fussy cut it out.  Walah!!!  you have the perfect border.

Try it and you will be hooked 😉😊

Add a couple of sequins and what a great card you have.
