Sale-a-Bration Fun!

Hello Stampers

We are now half way through our Sale-a-Bration Promotion where you get to choose great free stamp sets etc for every $90.00 spent.  I have been playing with a few of the goodies on offer so far and am loving them all.

Firstly the "So Very Much" Stamp Set...

Here I used the emboss resist technique and stamped the "Thank You" sentiment in versamark, then embossed with white embossing powder.  I then did a wash with Cherry Cobbler and Real Red using my aqua painter to bring out the words perfectly.  I finished off with some Cherry Cobbler thick twine and silver thread mixed together.  I made this for a lovely lady who co-ordinates the walking group I am a member of and she works so hard for us all.  So recognition was definitely needed :)

Next is the "Avant Garden" Stamp Set which I have to thank Pinterest and a lovely Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Sussex, Wisconsin, USA and Stamptastic Designs who designed this card.  I just love the Triple Stamping Technique.  It can be changed in so many ways and still look fabulous. Thanks Lynn Dunn from Stamptastic Designs :)

Next is the "Delicate Details" Stamp Set.  This is such a versatile stamp set and at first I thought, Hmm not sure if I will like this one??  BUT  now I just love it :)  I used it in my last Class which had a theme of "Black & White + one".  Everyone loved it and it was very easy as well.  I placed each photopolymer stamp on the one large acrylic block and stamped the basic black card with versamark then sprinkled white embossing powder.  It is crucial here that you use your embossing buddy before stamping as black can be very unforgiving when it comes to wet embossing :)   The Happy thinlit is from the current "Hello You" Thinlits Set #137363 on Page 192 of the Annual Catalogue and the sentiment is from the "Birthday Bright" Stamp Set #142835 on Page 13 of the Occasions Catalogue and the little flower is from the "T-Shirt Builder" Framelits Dies #142754 on Page 30 of the Occasions Catalogue.

Next comes the "Inside the Lines" Designer Series Paper.  For those of you who know me I am not a fan of colouring!!!!  BUT once again this paper won me over and along with our new WaterColor Pencils # 141709 on Page 24 of the Occasions Catty I am becoming a convert...

Here is the finished card and you see not a lot of colouring is required to make a stunning card :) The bees are from the "Detailed Dragonfly" Thinlits Dies #142749 on Page 26 of the Occasions Catty.

and of course the "Hey Chick" Stamp Set.  I am really looking forward to using this one for my Sister-in-Law's Birthday Card in July.  She just loves her Chooks and I have the perfect one in mind for her :)  In the meantime I used it for a gift tag on a stamp set which I posted to someone recently.
Once again I used the Watercolor Pencils here.

I do have some exciting news as well!!!!!  There are new items available from tomorrow - Tuesday February 21 and here is a sneak peek of some gorgeous glimmer paper on offer...

There is also Bermuda Bay in the pack so if you are in Australia pop on over to my shop here and use my Hostess Code for February - MJ2VVM9E.  Please leave your details when ordering and you will receive an extra gift from me :)
