November News

Hello Stampers

Well November is a very exciting month!!
Firstly we have the launch of Stampin' Up!s new Paper Trimmer

It is here now for you to purchase  👏👏😀  I have been testing mine out now for a couple of weeks and totally love it.  So many better features than the last one.  Pick yours up right now from my online store here.

Remember to add my November Hostess Code CPPKT633 to receive this month's free gift from me - a selection of the gorgeous "Brightly Gleaming" Foil Elements

Also while stocks last we have the new "Christmas Time" Suite available.  This Suite can be used for Christmas and then for many more occasions afterwards like Birthdays and Mother's Day to name a couple.

Also check out what you can get in this suite more closely on my website.

Now to some cards I have made recently using the "Pigment Sprinkles" on Page 179 of the Annual Catalogue.  I had recently been inspired by some beautiful creations done by Ingrid Heijnen-Hermens.  So thought I would dabble a little myself.

I used Shimmery White Cardstock and taped them down to my grid paper with Painter's Tape

Then experimented with all the colours in the collection in different combinations

I found that the 2 examples on the right still had quite a bit of colour coming off on my hands so I wiped them both over well with a dry tissue to get off all the excess before adding to card fronts.  Here are the end results....

Here I have mounted the coloured piece on the Whisper White card front with dimensionals and stamped all around the outside with the leaf from "Daisy Lane" Stamp Set in Early Espresso and added a wee gold "Designer Element" to the small stitched circle. I used Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight.

This next one I used Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape in lines alternately and the "Thank You" greeting from the "Daisy Delight" Stamp Set with 3 little retired Melon Mambo embellishments.

This one above is using Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape randomly sprinkled.  A couple of embellishment dies from the "Flourish" Die Set and the "Thank You" greeting from "Daisy Delight" Stamp Set.  Also I framed the piece in Gorgeous Grape using the "Stitched Rectangle" Dies

This last one above I was trying to get Christmas colours using Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo in diagonal stripes but it did not end up how I pictured 😵 so I stamped the large Christmas Tree from the "Memories of Home" Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalogue, with Versamark and then Black Embossing Powder.  Finishing off with the sentiment from the same stamp set and a little Linen Thread bow.  Then mounted it on a Granny Apple Green Card Base.

I feel that I need to play with these a little bit more to see what different creations I can come up with.  So watch this space and I will share once I have more 😍

Happy Stamping
