Exciting News!!

Hello Stampers

I do hope you are all keeping well and busy during these times of self-isolation.  The world is certainly experiencing some trouble times right now and I am just so thankful for my good health, wonderful family and friends and my crafting.  Stampin' Up! is really looking after us as Demonstrators and our product deliveries have not been affected too much here in Australia.  I thank all the wonderful workers at our Sydney Distribution Centre who keep those all important deliveries happening so quickly! 👏👏👏  I think a special card will be making its way to them real soon 😀

Meanwhile I have lots and lots of birthdays coming up to create for as well as our new 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue coming out real soon. If you are one of my valued regular customers watch your letterbox for a special delivery some time in the next week 😉

Another very exciting event in my life is the birth of my Online eCommerce Store - WGs Creations.

Due to all our face-to-face activities being put on hold for a wee while I am expanding all my Stamping Avenues to go online.  I had been holding Market Stalls every couple of months to sell my excess card creations and they have now been cancelled so I have created WGs Creations.  Check it out here

I mentioned a new 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue...so that means a lot of items will be retiring from the two current Catalogues - the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue and the January - June 2020 Mini Catalogue so you need to check out the Retiring List and grab those "Have-to-Have" goodies before they are gone.  Check them all out here.

Last-Chance Products

Another fun new item that Stampin' Up! has just launched is the COVID-19 Giveback Digital "Share the Sunshine" PDF Downloads.  You can purchase the 15 Pages of Images for just US$12.00 (Approx A$19.00) and use them with all your other stamping supplies to create fun and uplifting cards to send to friends and loved ones.  All proceeds are donated to a choice of 2 charities which you designate at the time of purchase.  So a really good cause.

I have created 2 cards to send to a couple of friends just to keep their spirits up and say I am thinking of them 😀  I have also used some of the Sale-a-Bration free Designer Series Paper that I still have and great to fussy cut out the individual flowers.

Happy Stamping Everyone

Stamping in Isolation

Hello Stampers

Being at home isolating from the "Coronavirus" World is not that bad really, especially for a Crafter 😁😉  I have been preparing all my special little gifts for a wonderful group of ladies whose birthdays are coming up in May.  There are 20 of us in our fabulous supportive group and for each birthday this year I have decided to give them a little handbag of goodies using a few of the fun things in the "Dressed to Impress" Suite.

Here are the finished May bags ready to be filled with some goodies:-

I have used the Dies, the Designer Series Paper and the Tassels that all come in this Suite....all matching.  Just love it!!

While I was making them I wanted to add a special little tag that says they are all fabulous 😁 but the long tag Die in the set is too long for the sentiment.  What to do??  Easily fixed and I will share with you all how I made it smaller.

I used this tag in the "All Dressed Up" Dies and added the sentiment "Fabulous at any Age" from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" Stamp set

I didn't really want the tag this long so I just re-run it through the big shot again lining it up to make it shorter.

I added a little piece of Painters Tape I had purchased from Bunnings or any Hardware Store, just so that it wouldn't move.  It is easy to line up with the previous stitching line.  I turned the greeting around so that I stopped the Big Shot once it passed over the end bit.  If you ran the whole piece through there would be more chance of not lining it up properly.

And Walah!!!  I have the perfect size for my Project.

The finished gift bag...

I hope the girls all love their Birthday Bags 😃😃😃😃

Happy Stamping and keep well

A new Month = a new Hostess Code

Hello Stampers

We are now 5 days into April so a new Hostess Code is due for all my Online Orders.  For April, and you live in Australia,  if you add the Hostess Code DY9D9YXZ you will receive my April Free Gift as a Thank You from me 👏😊 which is the "Sparkle Textured Impressions" Embossing Folder

Today I had to use some more of the gorgeous "Ornate Garden" Specialty Designer Series Paper and show you that you can also emboss your Designer Series Papers and your envelopes as well 😁

If you look very closely at the pic above you should be able to see the subtle embossing of the Designer Series Paper just to give it some interesting texture

The stitching on the side of the backing Calypso Coral Card is from the "Stitched Labels" Dies.

One can never have too many "Thank You" cards don't you think?

Happy Stamping

Happy April to Everyone

Hello Stampers

Here we are in April already!!!  and what a crazy, a little scary and life changing April it is 😦  I do hope all my readers out there are keeping well and staying home to reduce the possibility of catching this terrible, terrible virus.  I think the lack of socialising and catching up with Friends and Family is the hardest especially when  I am unable to spend time with my beautiful Grand Children or hug my children or even catch up for coffee with my wonderful group of friends.  I do look towards the light at the end of the tunnel though and don't mind at all if it means the Medical Professionals can get on top of the spread and knock this disease on it's head real quick!!

We Crafters are the very lucky ones though as we will always enjoy our Card Making and then posting our cards to those who need a little more lift.

I had to try and still provide my monthly card classes to my regular crafters so for March I organised a "Stamping From a Distance" Card Kit Class and delivered them all to their front doors to do in the comfort of their own homes.  I have seen pics of some great creations starting with my little kits 😀😀

One of the cards was a #simplestamping card which was intended for a Birthday Card but the Greeting was left up to the maker and I used the "Ink on an Acrylic Block" Technique. They could choose either the blue or the yellow design.  I love this technique and even though it is so simple it has great character.  Here I used Block D for my designs.

I had a couple of yellow designs left over so came up with these next 2 cards to keep in my stash.  I think just the black and one other colour looks fabulous.

SALE-A-BRATION is over for another year 😞 so that is a little sad. I hope you all managed to pick up some great freebies over the last 3 months.

We now have a new Suite on offer to keep us all tied over till the new 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue arrives in June.

You can see everything included in this Suite on my Website link here:-

I have had a little bit of a play with the Dies for one of my "Stamping From a Distance" Cards

Here I used the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and one of the Die in the "Ornate Thanks" Bundles.

Next I will try the "Ornate Thanks" Stamp Set and show you my end results next time.  I am sure I will be Blogging more often these days while Self-Isolating 😉

Cheers and Happy Stamping
