Countdown to the new 2013/2014 Catalogue........

Hi there Stampers

Just 9 more big sleeps till the new 2013/2014 Annual Catalogue starts Woohoo!!!!!!!

This also means only 8 more sleeps for you to order your favourite things that will be not coming back from the 2012/2013 Annual Catalogue.  So check those "Wish Lists" and head over to my website here to see the most updated Retirement List.  You can even order direct from my Website to save time and ensure no disappointment :)

I have been making a couple of cards using some products that I love and will not be returning next Catalogue - Pop-up Posies Designer Kit on Page 18 of the Seasonal Catalogue containing heaps of really cute things and also the beautiful 5/8" (1.6cm) Flower Trim on Page 5 of the Seasonal Catalogue

5/8" Flower Trim

Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit

Frost White Shimmer Paint - by Stampin' Up!

The first card is using another very favourite of mine - The Dress Up Framelits Dies (these will still be available in the next Catty Yay!!!) - and I have made the little dancing party skirt using the Pool Party paper flowers in the kit. Doesn't it look just sooooo cute :)  I have popped the bodice of the dress through the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, then adhered it to the Early Espresso Dress Frame - I always cut off the feet at the bottom of the dress frame. I randomly added about 6 paper flowers, some with 3 petals cut off which I placed at the top of the skirt.

The largest of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (this also is returning) has been spritzed with the Frost White Shimmer Paint (sadly this is not coming back in the new Catty) and edged using the "Essentials" Paper Piercing Pack.

The greeting is from the "Embellished Events" Stamp Set - returning for another year :) and this has been popped on to a the larger of the Ticket Duo Builder which has been run through the Big Shot with the upcoming, new "Modern Mosaic" Embossing Folder.  Watch out for this Modern Mosaic Bundle it is really super cool.

A few Stampin' Dimensionals and we have the finished card............

This second card is also using the Dress Up Framelits Dies but also using another item which I am very happy to collect and use on my cards :)  This was demonstrated for us at Convention this year by Ngaire Anderson in her Workshop Wow.  It is using the wrappers from those delicious Fererro Roche Chocolates....

How cute is that?  I love it.  It looks just like a Flamenco Dancer's skirt.  Here in my version I have just the dress form in Crumb Cake.  It has been stamped with the french wording from the "French Foliage" Stamp Set but you can't quite see it here in this photo.  The necklace is made using 3 brads from the Neutrals pack.

The Fererro Roche wrappers are folded in half and randomly again placed on the bottom of the dress form with Glue Dots.  Here I have used 4 wrappers.  I will just have to make a few more of these dresses as there are more than 4 Fererro Roches in my chocolate box haha.

I wrapped a piece of Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon around the waist a couple of times and added an Antique Brad to hold it all together.

The dress has then been popped up on "Champagne Glimmer Paper" Apothecary Accent Framelit.

The greeting is from another retired stamp set called "Upsy Daisy"

I have also "dressed up" the envelope, as Shelli always says "You can't leave an envelope naked"  The Designer Paper I used here has also retired.

I have made these little gift boxes for my daughter and her best friend's Hen's Party this weekend. I have used the Kraft Gift Boxes on Page 161 of the Annual Catalogue and these will be returning in the next Catalogue as well.

I used the Pop-up Posies Designer Kit for these boxes and trimmed the sides with the Delicate Details Lace Tape (also coming back in the new Catty) and the Flower Trim (Sadly retiring :( )

The hearts are using the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits.

I hope you are all as excited as me for the new 2013/2014 Annual Catalogue to start.  If you haven't already got one email me here with the subject "New Catalogue" and I will pop one in the mail for you for only $10.00 P&H included (Australia only).  If you then place an order with me in the first 2 weeks I will take that cost off your order total.

You can also order one direct online here.
I will then contact you further before your next order.

Happy Stamping and TFL
Janette
