The new 2019 Holiday Catalogue is here!

I am really excited to share with you all the new Holiday Catalogue for this year and there are so many lovely products and ideas in this issue.  Click on the Catalogue pic to the right of this Blog to check it all out and if you want a print copy in your hot little hands, and you live in Australia,  just email me here and one will be in the mail to you straight away 😃

One of the gorgeous Designer Series Papers (DSP) in this catalogue is the "Brightly Gleaming" Specialty Designer Series Paper which has gold and copper accents throughout.  In fact the whole "Brightly Gleaming" Suite is a must have I think 😉

I recently made a card using this Designer Paper in my Class and it was so easy but so effective and the ladies loved it.




Just using small pieces of the DSP 5cm x 6.5cm on a Very Vanilla Cardbase and added a couple of embossed lines to break it up, using the score blade on the Paper Trimmer.  The jolly greeting is heat embossed with copper embossing powder.  The Merry Christmas greeting is in Night of Navy ink and fussy cut out to add to the top of the card.

The greeting for this one above is from the new "So Many Stars" Stamp Set on Page 11 of the new Holiday Catty and the circle design edge poking out from behind is from the "Flourish" Die set




This one has the "Layered Leaves" embossed backing card and the Braided Linen Trim for the bows.



The little dots on the black background card are embossed with copper embossing powder and a little bit of copper trim for added interest 😀



The Christmas baubles stamped and punched out with the matching punch adds a bit of 3-dimensional fun as well.



This one above is using the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand twine on the bauble this time.

New Holiday Catalogue coming soon!!!!

Exciting times ahead!!!  The new Holiday Catty filled with so many fun Christmas and other things is nearly here.  Can't wait to share it with you 😁 I will be receiving copies in the next week or so and will be posting them out to my regular customers so tell all your friends and let me know (if you are in Australia) and  if you want a copy.  This Catalogue starts on 4 September.

As a Demonstrator we get to attend fun and informative OnStage Events twice a year at various cities around Australia.  This November our Local OnStage Event is in Sydney and I m going to meet up with lots of fellow crafty Stampin' Up! Friends.

Using scraps

Hello Stampers
I just can't bring myself to throw away any types of scraps that get left on my crafting table!! 😄😄😄 Are you with me here??

I recently made some cards for a Kids Card Class using the tiny little bird from the "Well Written" Dies and had a strip of card with little birds cut out on it.

Hmmmmm 😬 I thought to myself "There must be something I could use this for?"  So this card was born......





The actual strip I used had the birds all in a row.  It is now in the bin as I used it as a stencil and spread it with silver embossing paste on Basic Black card.  Silver is no longer available, unfortunately, but you can get "Shimmery White" and "White" which would work just as good.  You can make any stencils you like using your dies.  You don't have to stick to the standard stencils 😉


The beautiful "Bird Ballad" Designer Series Paper suited this design just perfectly and I fussy cut one of the birds out as well to add to the top of the card.  I will let you in on a little secret here.  Shhhh don't tell anyone but this bird was to cover up a messy embossing paste bird at the top of the black card 😂😂

As we in the "Biz" say....There are no mistakes in card making!!


The greeting is from the "Dandelion Wishes" Stamp Set.  I love this sentiment for a Get Well card.

So my wonderful fellow stampers try and think of another use for all those odd scraps you have and let me see what creations you come up with 😃
